What Are The Causes of Acne

Acne occurs, basically, because of a stimulation brought about by some hormones. These hormones produce oil; which in turn, are supposed to smoothen and protect the skin. Now, under certain instances, some skin cells clog the openings of the skin where the oil should come out; this clogging of the skin follicles cause a buildup of oil beneath the skin surface. The oil buildup triggers growth of bacteria within the affected follicle which then brings about the inflammation or the zit.
